Walk-by or drive-by reading with the mobile radio system
With the mobile wireless M-Bus radio system from ZENNER, you can use the convenient remote reading of energy meters by means of the walk-by or drive-by method. As a result, appointments and flat inspections are no longer necessary. The meter readout intervals become flexible.
The Wireless M-Bus radio system is based on the European standard OMS (Open Metering System). This allows you to integrate OMS-capable meters from various manufacturers into the wireless system and read them out.

Secure data transmission by radio with the Wireless M-Bus radio system
In the case of remote readout with the wireless M-Bus radio system, the measuring devices independently send a data protocol at defined intervals. For data protection reasons, the radio protocols are encrypted according to the latest technological standard.
They are processed and saved using the radio receiver MinoConnectRadio and a handheld or a tablet PC with reading software. The recorded consumption data and associated meter parameters are then transferred to a PC in the company and are available for billing or energy monitoring.
The wM-Bus radio system is particularly suitable for:
- Meter farms with OMS-capable meters from various manufacturers
- the reading of water, heat and cooling meters (thermal energy meters)
- the fulfilment of the intra-year consumption information (uVI) requirements in submetering
